Fall into the Spotlight: Autumn on Ice
Hosted by the Figure Skating Club of Southern Maryland and Tucker Road Ice Rink
Fall into the Spotlight: Autumn on Ice is a supportive, lower-pressure skating exhibition where FSCSM and Tucker Road skaters can perform a current program or something new they are working on for family, friends, and fellow skaters.
Programs may feature any music, style, or theme. Halloween-themed programs are welcome, but are not required.
Skater Registration
Registration opens September 12. Space is limited.
Registration is initially open to current FSCSM members and skaters who skate at Tucker Road Ice Rink, with performance spots reserved for each group. Registrations will be reviewed in the order received. If your group’s initial allocation is filled, you may be placed on a waitlist. Waitlisted skaters will be contacted regarding availability by October 7.
Each skater may initially participate in one performance, either a solo or group performance. If space remains, skaters may later be given the opportunity to register for an additional performance.
Registration Fees
Solo: $50 per skater
Group performance (2 or more skaters): $25 per skater
Program Length Guidelines
Solo: Up to 2:00
Group performance: Up to 2:30
Requests for additional program time may be considered on a case-by-case basis based on the program and overall event schedule.
How Registration Works
For a solo, submit one registration for the individual skater. For a group performance, one person should register the entire group and provide the names and contact information for all participating skaters.
If a spot is available, FSCSM will send an invoice for the applicable registration fee. For group performances, each participating skater will receive an individual invoice. If a spot is not currently available, FSCSM will notify you that the registration has been placed on the waitlist.
Payment is due within 48 hours of the invoice being sent. Submitting the form does not confirm a performance spot. Solo registrations are confirmed once payment is received; group performances are confirmed once all participating skaters have paid. Registration fees are nonrefundable.
Confirmed participants will receive music submission instructions and other event information before the exhibition.
