The Junior Board gives young members the opportunity to develop leadership skills, support club activities, and help shape the future of FSCSM.
About the Junior Board
FSCSM’s Junior Board provides young members with opportunities to develop leadership skills, serve their skating community, participate in club activities, and represent the interests of junior members. Positions include President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Junior Liaison.
Junior Board members may contribute throughout the year by:
Participating in monthly Junior Board meetings
Planning and supporting junior-focused activities and club events
Organizing service projects and fundraising activities
Welcoming and encouraging younger and newer club members
Sharing ideas and feedback with the FSCSM Executive Board
Helping develop Junior Board announcements and social media content
Supporting other club projects and activities as needed
Eligibility and Commitment
Junior Board positions are open to eligible junior members ages 8–17, with age requirements varying by position. Junior Board members must be prepared to attend monthly meetings, participate in activities and projects as needed, work cooperatively with others, and set a positive example for fellow skaters.
